Do I need a website when I do affiliate marketing?

I am trying to learn affiliate marketing for purposes of earning money. Drop shipping is what I know although I haven't tried it yet. Now I am thinking if affiliate marketing is similar to drop shipping. Do I need a website to be in the affiliate marketing business?

I think so. You really need to find a website and join their affiliate marketing program. I have just joined Lazada affiliate marketing program here in the Philippines.I just saw that promotion in YouTube. i have just signed up there. i don't know if I have earnings already there.

Yes, you are very correct my friend with that assertion on making using of websites for affiliate marketing. I have also seen so many advert on YouTube as well for so many other affiliate programs but I'm very comfortable with wealthy affiliate marketing program, Amazon and Craigslist.

If you want to get the best out of your affiliate marketing business, then it's very important to have a website for the business. Yes, it's true there are some people who don't make use of websites for affiliate marketing but make use of YouTube and social media but using websites is the best.

I have not yet heard of affiliate marketing without a website. How does it even work especially for products sold on various online sites? All the affiliate marketing sites I know have a rule that you should have a website to be their affiliate employee.

I actually thought of the same thing when I was still new on the job believing that there is no way of getting into affiliate marketing without a website but as I grew on the job, I became increasingly aware of so many other ways of getting into affiliate marketing without using a website. Remember it's all about promoting another person's business, so you can virtually do it anywhere.

Oooh okay. Great insights. It definitely does help interacting with people who have the knowledge on such like you my friend. My point nonetheless is to imply on the crucial importance of a website. I have not seen people do without one but it still does not mean the room for learning is limited.

Exactly, that's what I'm trying to say my friend. You opinion is very correct because it looks more better to make use of website for affiliate marketing. It's a more profitable when website is used.

Yes. A website is a must which is how most sites identify you. There are some affiliate marketing sites that you can create a website with for free or a limited fee while there are others that need you to have an operating website prior to signing up with them.

Website isn't a must but it's very important to use for affiliate marketing. This is how I would put it for you. Have you been into affiliate marketing before? Try Google affiliate marketing using YouTube, and see what you will come up with.

Well, you can start out with Amazon affiliate marketer. I'm very sure that you know very well about Amazon, as they are the biggest online store.

Starting out as an affiliate marketer under Amazon seems like a great idea.

The answer is yes and no. There are some sites like Youtube or Amazon that offer their own ways of affiliate marketing. Though it would help immensely if you made a website for the purpose of boosting your affiliate marketing programs. You could just use social media to market but it would require that you have a lot of followers to do so. In the end, having a website is better than having no website at all.

Exactly! Affiliate marketing can be done with a website and without a website. It's all about working with what best for you.

You can decide to use social media sites like Facebook, Twitter or even YouTube to market your affiliate links but using websites seems to be the best option in my opinion.

Ideally yes, you need one. Having a website makes everything much more simple. You could also use a blog, for example, or a website that allows you to create one for free without paying for a domain. But I think your audience will trust you more if you had your own website with a unique domain.

Requirements for an affiliate marketing to succeed are Youtube channel, I recommend a blog too. Create videos for the channel and articles for the blog. Keep linking from blog to channel and the other way around. And then you can use affiliate link according to your topics.
